Krav Maga?
Krav Maga is the Israeli combat system. A system known for its simplicity, effectiveness and realistic training method. Krav Maga is the number one self-defense system taught around the world for the need of self-defense.

Krav Maga was initially developed as the combat system of the Israeli army, and until 1964 Krav Maga was taught only to the Israeli military and police forces.
Imi Lichtenfeld
In 1964 Imi Lichtenfeld (the founder of Krav maga) retired from the Israeli army after 20 years of service in teaching krav maga to the soldiers. He then opened his own school to teach krav maga to civilians. Most of the technics taught at that time were the same as what was taught to the military, but later own Imi started to adapt Krav Maga technics to the need of civilian, and in 1987 the first Krav Maga civilian curriculum was created by Imi Lichtenfeld and his foremost student Eyal Yanilov (KMG president). From 1994 krav maga started to be taught outside of Israel to military and police forces as well as civilian.

Modern Self-Defense system
Krav Maga is a modern self-defense system that teaches how to defend against all sort of attacks. Krav Maga also teaches awareness, prevention, de-escalation, because the aim of krav maga is to stay safe and therefore as much as possible one should avoid the physical confrontation.
Based on Natural reactions
Technics are based on natural reactions of the defenders but also based on the behaviors and natural and reaction of the attackers.
Instructors
gilles isard
Gilles Isard is a Krav Maga Expert. He is the founder of NKMA. He is also the founder, director and chief instructor of Krav Maga Global Japan. He has done his Instructor training and Expert training in Israel at the source of Krav Maga under Master Eyal Yanilov. Gilles has been teaching Krav Maga in Japan since 2015. He has more than 25 years experience in martial arts notably Taekwondo (2 degree black belt) and Judo.
Instructor Team
All our instructors have many years of Krav Maga training and went through the intensive and rigorous General Instructor Course conducted by international Krav Maga experts from the Israeli organisation Krav Maga Global.
Krav Maga grading
and ranking
Passing grades in Krav Maga is the best way to get strong foundation and a deep understanding of the system. It also a good way to set medium-term objectives and keep the motivation to reach your long term goal. Our grading system follows Krav Maga Global curriculum.
Grades are divided
IN levels and sub-levels
Practitioner Levels (P Levels): P1 to P5
Graduate Levels (G Levels): G1 to G5
Expert Levels (E Levels): E1 to E5
Grades are based on knowledge of the curriculums; a minimum hours of training; and minimum lapse of training time. The minimum lapse of time between grading within Practitioners and Graduates levels is about 6 to 8 months.
During grading test we evaluate the technical and tactical knowledges of the student but not only: Fitness and mental strength are also being tested.

Founded by Master Eyal Yanilov, Krav Maga Global (KMG) is recognized as the biggest Krav Maga organization in the world having schools and affiliated schools in about 60 countries. Thanks to its professionalism KMG has earned the trust of security services and civilian practitioners alike around the world.
Krav Maga Global Japan
In Japan KMG is represented by Krav Maga Global Japan. KMG Japan is the governing organization that ensures the quality of Krav Maga teaching in all KMG affiliated schools in Japan. All KMG Japan instructors have many years of practice in Krav Maga and went through a rigorous instructor training course conducted by international Krav Maga experts.
